I’m hoping that something like this could lead to some new strategies, which would definitely make the game much more fun to play. I don’t think this would change the game too drastically, but it would also allow for players to choose a certain strategy in the way they use their upgrades.

The same design could also be given to the belt, of the player choosing to use the upgrade for honey profit, speed, or capacity (again not all 3 at once). This would allow for the unlocking of a new bee to be more meaningful, as the previous few bees would not be fully obsolete. What I think could solve this is if every time you unlocked a new bee you could choose for it to focus on specifically cells, speed, or honey production instead of a default of equally all three. The only reason why this could be too repetitive is because there are really only two things that could be upgraded, the bees and the belt. I have a lot of fun playing this game, however there is one thing that I think could be improved.
